Deep fried shrimp with sweet chili sauce

This simple shrimp dish is a great appetizer to serve at your next holiday party.


1 pound 41/50 peeled and deveined raw shrimp

Sweet chili sauce:
1/cup maeploy
1 Tsp sugar
1 Tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp shichimi

Flour coating:
1 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder

2 eggs whisked
1 cup panko

Time: 20 minutes
Step 1

Coat shrimp in flour mixture. Dip shrimp into whisked eggs and then in panko.

Step 2

Deep fry shrimp until golden brown, approximately 2 minutes.

Step 3

Toss shrimp in sweet chili sauce.

Step 1

Plate and serve with extra sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
