Panko Crusted Sablefish

Panko crusted Sablefish


Vegetable mixture:
1/2 purple onion- thinly sliced
1 cup grape tomatoes- cut in half
2 tsp crushed garlic
1 1/2 tsp hondashi
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tsp oil

Flour mixture:
3 Tsp flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

1 beaten egg

1 cup Panko

1 1/2 pounds Sablefish (Black Cod)- cut into 4- 6oz portions

Time: 30 minutes
Step 1

Dip Sablefish into flour mixture and then into beaten egg. Coat in Panko and set aside.

Step 2

In a pan heat oil to medium high. Place Sablefish in pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side.

Step 3

In a separate pan heat oil to medium high. Place vegetable mixture in pan and cook until onions and tomatoes are soft.

Step 4

Spoon vegetable mix on plate and place Sablefish on top. Enjoy!
